Originally from Great Neck, New York, Michael relocated to Tempe, Arizona in 1992. He has been in the finance industry his entire career, having worked for both American Express and Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Michael is a CPA who holds his Series 7, 66, and life/health/disability insurance licenses. Michael focuses his strategies on wealth creation and preservation, business succession planning, and wealth transfer across generations. Michael also incorporates asset protection into all of his estate work.

Away from the office, Michael is active in professional associations and local non-profit organizations. Michael serves on both the Accountants in Industry Committee and Financial Planning Committee of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA). Additionally, he is the chairman of the ASCPA Financial Planning Education Subcommittee. Michael donates his time to worthwhile non-profits. He is the financial advisor for a student organization at Arizona State University and is the president and treasurer of two homeowners' associations. Each year, Michael volunteers for the Salvation Army Christmas Angel Program. He also gave of his time at the 2008 'My Nana's Salsa Challenge' benefiting the Arizona Hemophilia Association. Michael and his wife are also Eucharistic ministers at their church.
